Annual Sports Day – Synergy 2022-23
On 17th February 2023, Laxmi Public School hosted its Annual Sports Day Meet, Synergy 2022-23 with great ardour and zeal. The chief guest for the day was Mr. Pankaj Luthra, Municipal Councillor, Shahdara.

The day started with School Flag hosting which was followed by Lighting of Torch. The Annual Sports Day eet was declared open by Honourable Mr. G. Gupta, Manager Laxmi Public School. School report was presented by sports HOD Ms. Sharmila.

Sports event began with Ganesh Vandana which was followed by vivid and energetic track events like 50ts race, 100mts, 20 mts race, relay race etc. by the students of class 4th to 8th. The most interesting races were cherry Race, Ball Balancing, Bag Pack Race, Bucket Page of Kindergarten and I to IIIrd grade students. The winners were felicitated with the medals by Chief Guest, Mr. Pankaj Luthra, Manage Laxmi Public School Mr. G Gupta, Headmistress Laxmi Public School s. Rajni Dhiman.

Students performed a magnificent display of Drill, Dance, Yoga. The audience got mesmerized with the energetic performance of Taekwondo Grand Finale stole the show with the scintillating performance of the students on patriotic songs.

At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.

The Vote of Thanks was extended to the Chief Guest, Management Members, Teachers, Parents and Students. The meet saw its culmination with the National anthem.

CBSE cluster xx volley ball championship was hosted by Laxmi Public School w.e.f , 6.12.2022. 60 schools from all over Delhi participated in the tournament.

Interactive Session with Parents by the School Advisor – Dec 3rd 2022

Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectation. The constant dialogue between the management and parents is vital for overall development of a child. Keeping this in mind an interactive session / counselling session of parents with school advisor Mrs Premlata Garg was conducted on December 3rd 2022. She shared parenting tips with the parents of the students from classes Pre-Primary – V.
Around 100 parents attended the session.

Actions performed with awareness bring results. At a time, when the world is fast changing and India is emerging as the hub of global talent, Laxmi Public School, Karkardooma continues to be a beacon of inspiration, inculcating in students the qualities of both head and heart.

The student council is annually inducted through an Investiture Ceremony. The members of the council led by a Head Boy and a Head Girl are responsible for maintaining discipline, organizing and supervising a multitude of activities ensuring the smooth flow of school functions and ceremonies. They act as torch bearers.

Students are also appointed for various other responsibilities and as house captains to carry out their responsibilities with integrity and sincerity.

FOUNDER’S DAY :

To commemorate the birth anniversary of our Founder Director – Mrs Kamla Gupta, the school celebrates Founders’ Day on Aug 1st every year.
Various appreciation and prestigious awards are presented to the students to mark the occasion.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME :

Laxmi Public School is confidently marching ahead imparting holistic education with healthy and harmonious blend of academic and cultural activities.

Towards this, every year in the beginning of the session Orientation Programme is organized which aims at familiarizing the students with the school environment.

The Orientation Programme includes plethora of activities like Puppet-Show, Magic-Show, Thumb Painting, Colouring Rhymes, Horse-Riding and much more.

The Programme is designed to make sure that children enjoy themselves and connect closely to the new atmosphere of the school which is a home for them away from home.

GRADUATION CEREMONY:

The Pre Primary Wing of Laxmi Public School celebrates “Graduation Ceremony” every year in the month of march. Graduation Ceremony is celebrated as the little Laxmites are ready to step into their formal school life.

During their initial year the children learn to read, write, dance, sing, draw and colour. Our tiny tots are nurtured by loving and caring teachers who prepare them for formal education.

Our young graduates become confident and strong to leap ahead into formal education and shoulder various responsibilities with confidence.
